Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Resident Microbiologist, based in Bengaluru. Responsibilities include performing microbiological investigations, managing laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to quality control and assurance protocols, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The Senior Resident Microbiologist will also collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care and outcomes while adhering to industry standards and protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and the ability to handle laboratory equipment effectively
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Microbiology
  • Experience with Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes in a healthcare setting
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in testing and reporting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • A MD degree in Microbiology
  • Relevant work experience in clinical microbiology is preferred
