Key Responsibilities

VMware Infrastructure (Expert Level):

  • Administer and maintain VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi).
  • Advanced expertise in VM cloning, snapshot management, backup/recovery, DRS, FTT (Failures To Tolerate), and Storage vMotion.
  • Perform infrastructure scaling and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize VM performance and resource allocation.
  • Deep knowledge of VMware internals including command-line tools (esxcli, PowerCLI, vSphere CLI) and architecture.
  • Manage VM lifecycle including provisioning, patching, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Maintain and monitor multiple VMs hosting terabytes of data.

Windows Server Administration:

  • Expert-level management of Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, and newer).
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain controller replication.
  • Configure and manage IIS, .NET/web applications, certificates, and system hardening.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory standards.
  • Handle audits, secrets/password management, and configuration baselines.
  • Experience with Windows Clustering and SQL Server Cluster configuration/troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in storage management, disk optimization, and log analysis.

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS):

  • Manage AWS EC2 instances, EBS volumes, and S3 buckets.
  • Implement AWS cost optimization strategies, reserved instance planning, and lifecycle policies.
  • Configure and manage AWS Route 53, DNS, and Elastic IPs.
  • Implement and manage AWS Lambda functions and serverless architectures.
  • Monitor and audit AWS environments for security and compliance.

Monitoring and Automation:

  • Implement and manage enterprise-grade monitoring and alerting solutions (Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
  • Automate routine tasks and reporting using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Perform root cause analysis and proactive maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in server and infrastructure administration within enterprise environments.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in VMware ecosystem (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, DRS, HA, FTT).
  • Strong experience with Windows Server administration and IIS.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure (100s of VMs, 100s of TB of data).
  • Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, Route 53, cost management).
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, SOX compliance, and audit protocols.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, documentation, and change management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / Solutions Architect.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator / Azure Administrator.
  • ITIL Foundations or equivalent process certifications.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently and own the full server lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams.

Note: Immediate joiners with excellent communication skills are highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
