About Kshamta Kendra:

SPYM is the designated Kshamta Kendra for Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir for capacity-building to strengthen the skills and knowledge of stakeholders working in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support. Kshamta Kendra plays a vital role in empowering NGOs, CBOs, and health professionals through structured training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, in collaboration with respective State AIDS Control Societies (SACS).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Organize training programs – scheduling dates, venue, and resource persons in consultation with SACS.
  • Maintain communication and liaison with SACS for smooth coordination.
  • Coordinate with master trainers, NGOs/CBOs, and trainees for training delivery.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with all stakeholders.
  • Provide support in training reports, documentation, and knowledge management.
  • Manage hall arrangements and other logistics for trainings.
  • Assist in additional duties as required for the effective functioning of the center.
  • Travel: May be required (30% of total working days)

Who Can Apply:

  • Graduate with 2 years of relevant experience or 1 year of training experience in HIV/AIDS programme implementation.
  • Experience in training coordination, capacity building, or NGO/health sector projects will be preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for training-related activities.

The project duration is till March 2026.
