Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will support manufacturing operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, improving processes, and recommending actionable insights to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business growth. The role requires close collaboration with production, supply chain, finance, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production, inventory, quality, and supply chain data to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, throughput, wastage, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for system improvements, digital tools, and automation initiatives.
  • Support implementation of ERP/MES systems, process digitization, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for process improvements, technology investments, and operational changes.
  • Document current business processes (As-Is) and design improved workflows (To-Be).
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams (IT/Tech partners) to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes or tools.
  • Assist in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting related to operations and production.
  • Prepare business cases, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in business/process analysis within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python (optional).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and MES platforms.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
