As a Project Controls Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving project success through data-driven insights and centralized oversight. You will support the Head of Project Controls by ensuring our projects are delivered with predictability and excellence. What this job involves:

This role is a central function focused on supporting the Head of Project Controls. You will monitor a portfolio of projects from a head office location, providing critical analysis and support to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the systems that allow for effective, data-driven decision-making across our PDS business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dashboard Management: Develop, manage, and analyze project dashboards using Power BI to monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project baselines.
  • Data Integrity & Analysis: Maintain up-to-date, centralized project data, ensuring it serves as a single source of truth for all reporting and analysis.
  • Schedule & Risk Oversight: Conduct high-level analysis of project's operational performance to identify trends, risks, and potential delays. Assist in implementing and monitoring project risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Central Initiatives: Support the execution of central project controls initiatives, including process improvements, system integrations, and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare insightful reports for senior management and collaborate with on-site project teams to gather accurate information and provide central support.
  • Autonomous Support: Proactively assist the Head of Project Controls, working autonomously to provide effective analysis and solutions that enhance project oversight.

What we're looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of robust experience in project controls. Candidates with less than 5 years of experience may be considered if they possess an exceptionally strong technical and project background.
  • On-Site Foundation: Previous experience working on-site on construction or real estate projects is required to ensure a practical understanding of project execution.
  • Core Skills:
    • Deep expertise in project planning/scheduling, with solid knowledge of scheduling & planning, cost control, risk management, quality control, and document control
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced, autonomous skill in Power BI and Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data integration).
    • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
  • Attributes:
    • A strong interest in data analytics and technology, with a proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Location: This is a central role based in our head office. The preferred location is Bangalore, though this may be flexible for an exceptional candidate.
