Lead/Senior Robotics Engineer)

Design, development and integration of advanced robotic solutions catering indoor and outdoor Autonomy Tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement autonomous Mapping and Navigation systems using ROS2, focusing on path planning, localization, odometry, and state estimation
  • Design and optimize state estimation techniques, including Kalman filters and sensor fusion methods, to improve robot accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate perception, odometry, and navigation modules into end-to-end robotic platforms.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices in SLAM, odometry, computer vision and robotics software development.
  • Expertise in odometry modelling, sensor calibration, and integration with perception systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of LiDAR processing, sensor fusion, and 3D mapping technologies.
  • Proficient in computer vision algorithms, image processing, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with robotic simulation tools such as Carla and Gazebo

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3-8 years of experience developing SLAM, odometry, and navigation solutions using ROS/ROS2.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in ROS2 navigation stack
  • Experience with Autoware Stack is plus
  • Solid understanding of autonomous navigation, path planning, localization, and motion estimation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead and mentor a technical team
