Job Title: Head of Service Delivery – Insurance Business

Location: Chennai (on-site)

Department: Operations / Service Delivery

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 15+ years in
    Insurance Operations (UK/Ireland market preferred)
    or service delivery roles
  • Proven experience in managing large teams and transitions
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, customer service, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance member self-service capabilities, automate pension calculations, and streamline policy servicing workflows.
  • Collaborate with client HR, payroll, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of insurance and pension services with corporate systems.
  • Implement controls and audit mechanisms to ensure accuracy in pension disbursements and life insurance claims.
  • Manage end-to-end operations for Life and Pension services including policy issuance, premium administration, claims adjudication, and beneficiary servicing.
  • Corporate Life and Pension Services Delivery
  • Coordinate with actuarial teams for valuation support, funding updates, and benefit modelling.
  • Oversee benefit calculations, annuity processing, lump-sum payouts, and survivor benefits in accordance with plan rules and client agreements.
  • Lead the configuration and onboarding of new pension schemes for large corporate clients, ensuring accurate setup of plan rules, eligibility criteria, and contribution structures.
  • Pension Scheme Setup and Payout Operations
  • Manage Corporate Pension scheme documentation, trust deeds, and regulatory filings in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with jurisdiction-specific pension regulations such as ERISA (US), TPR (UK), and other statutory requirements.
  • Oversee the setup, administration, and governance of corporate pension schemes including Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), and Hybrid plans.
