Position – Instrumentation & Programming Engineer

Reports To: Project Manager / Technical Head

Role Overview

The Instrumentation & Programming Engineer will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI integration, instrumentation setup, and on-site commissioning of automation systems across various locations in India. The role requires strong technical skills and extensive travel for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Allen Bradley & Siemens).
  • Integrate HMI systems with European and Indian machinery.
  • Set up and calibrate field instrumentation.
  • Manage electrical & mechanical integration during commissioning.
  • Perform on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and support.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams.
  • Maintain documentation and project logs.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2–3 years' hands-on experience in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
  • Knowledge of HMI integration, panel wiring, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to project sites across India.
  • Good understanding of electrical & mechanical integration.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Important Note

The job requires frequent and extended travel, with hectic schedules and site-based work.
