About the Role

The Executive – Merchandising/Senior Executive – Merchandising (Woven) will be responsible for managing the costing, sourcing, and inventory of fabric, accessories, and packing materials while ensuring quality and cost parameters are met.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of costing, sourcing, inventory management of fabric/accessories/packing materials in line with quality & cost parameters.
  • Knowledge on types of fabric, trims, seams, washes, thread consumption, chemicals used, lab tests to be done, embroidery, printing, quilting etc.
  • Communicating with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Closing FOB/wash approval with the buyer before production starts.
  • Getting line plan from factory and ensure it meets buyer delivery.
  • Sending all production-related samples to make shipment on time.

Qualifications

  • Any graduate/Post Graduate in Textile Technology
