Experience Required: 48 years in Sales (Meat Industry or related FMCG/Frozen category)

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and drive our sales initiatives in the Punjab region. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the non-veg frozen food segment (buffalo meat, chicken, chilled meats), along with familiarity in allied categories like ice creams, pet food, and frozen vegetables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Distribution Management:

  • Drive primary and secondary sales across assigned territory.

  • Manage and expand distributor/dealer network in Punjab.

  • Monitor stock levels, order cycles, and ensure availability of SKUs across channels.

  • Market Development:

  • Identify and onboard new retail/wholesale accounts in the non-veg/frozen category.

  • Work closely with HORECA clients (hotels, restaurants, catering) for institutional sales.

  • Increase product visibility and brand awareness in modern trade and general trade.

  • Team Handling:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Executives and Territory Sales Officers.

  • Set sales targets and review performance regularly.

  • Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends.

  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams on consumer preferences and new product opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: 48 years in sales, preferably in Frozen/Chilled Meat, Poultry, Dairy, Pet Food, or related FMCG sectors.
  • Regional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Punjab's market dynamics, consumer behavior, and distribution landscape.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.

  • Strong network of distributors, retailers, and HORECA clients in the region.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results.

Preferred Background:

  • Worked in companies dealing with Buffalo/Chicken Meat, Cold Chain Products, or Frozen Foods.
