About The Position
As an Automotive Product Manager for Telematics, you will drive the development and lifecycle of telematics products and connected vehicle services. You will work at the intersection of automotive technology, software, and customer experience, ensuring our telematics solutions deliver value to both end-users and business stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering, sales, marketing, and external partners to define product strategy, roadmaps, and features that enhance vehicle connectivity, safety, and user experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Be
Product Strategy Development

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for telematics solutions, aligning with company goals and market trends.
• Work with sales and engineering teams to research and identify new global opportunities for Marelli's telematics to complement or enhance current offerings
• Complete market size and customer segmentation analyses across the telematics portfolio
• Develop product line business cases that quantifies product strategy around growth potential and required investments; identify synergies within and across the ELS product lines; and conduct sensitivity analyses around NPV, IRR, and pay-back period

Product Roadmaps

• Develop product roadmaps for Marelli's Telematics products and potential future offerings
• Conduct scouting for new technologies and innovations to incorporate into the product roadmap

Internal and Customer Engagement

• Develop and support executive level product line strategies presentations
• Develop product presentations for and support customer meetings
• Train sales team on telematics features and value proposition
• Work with sales, purchasing, and engineering to develop RFI/RFQ technical responses
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders for the telematics automotive ecosystem within and outside of Marelli

What Qualifications You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree in a technical discipline is a plus.
• English fluent is mandatory, French, German, and/or Italian also appreciated
• 5+ years in product management, preferably in automotive, IoT, or connected services. Experience with telematics, embedded systems, or automotive software is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telematics protocols (e.g.,CAN bus, OBD-II), wireless technologies (e.g., 4G/5G, Bluetooth), and cloud platforms.
• Experience in product strategy creation and execution
• Ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with OEM engineering decision makers
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering to develop and execute new business acquisition strategies
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to translate technical details into business value for diverse audiences (peers, management, and executives).
• Passion for automotive innovation and trends in connected vehicles, autonomous driving, and mobility services.
• Aptitude to propose new and innovative strategies
• Aptitude to think out of the box in complex global context
