Roles and Responsibilities for Data Governance Create and update a comprehensive business glossary that defines key terms, data elements, and their usage to ensure consistent understanding across the organization. Partner with stakeholders to create, implement, and enforce data governance policies and standards, resolve data conflicts, and ensure cross-functional alignment on data practices. Regularly evaluate data quality metrics, ensure compliance with policies, and work with data stewards and custodians to address and resolve data issues. Oversee data quality within specific domains, enforce governance standards, and act as a primary contact for data-related queries within those areas. Establish and maintain technical controls for data, manage access permissions, and ensure secure data storage and ongoing data maintenance. Candidate Profile: Experienced Business analyst with diverse experience using a variety of tools (3-8 years).  Expertise in designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Proficient in ensuring data accuracy, managing data lineage, and maintaining regulatory compliance across data assets. Hands-on experience with leading data management tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) and a solid understanding of data infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to align on data governance initiatives and drive adherence to data policies. Strong skills in identifying data quality issues, implementing effective solutions, and driving continuous improvement in data management practices. Knowledge on asset management data types (e.g., portfolio data, market data, client data) and their specific governance requirements.
