About this Role

We are seeking a Senior 2D Artist with strong expertise in storyboarding, illustration, and visual design to lead and elevate the quality of our creative output. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a solid sense of visual storytelling, and proven experience in creating high-quality artwork for animation, explainer videos, and digital content.As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior artists, guide creative decisions, and collaborate closely with directors and clients to deliver world-class visuals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the creation of storyboards from scripts and briefs.
  • Develop high-quality 2D illustrations (hand-drawn/digital) that align with project requirements.
  • Oversee and refine visual concepts, ensuring consistency across projects.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to junior artists to maintain artistic standards.
  • Collaborate with creative and Art directors, animators, and production teams to bring concepts to life.
  • Ensure timely delivery of polished and professional visuals.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of professional experience in 2D art, storyboarding, or illustration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (mandatory).
  • Strong sketching and visual storytelling skills (framing, character design, scene composition).
  • Experience in explainer videos, animation pre-production, or visual development.
  • Ability to balance creativity with deadlines and client expectations.

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Toon Boom, or Blender for 2D).
  • Knowledge of design systems and asset preparation for animation pipelines.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a creative team.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both artistic versatility and storytelling ability.

This role requires senior-level expertise and leadership skills. Candidates must have at least 4+ years of relevant professional experience to be eligible for this position
