• Design Engineering - Engineering function End to End support

Key Accountabilities:

ÜSales and pre-engineering support for sales during RFQ stage

ÜDesign and manufacturing review with sales and operations.

ÜProject Engineering – Datasheet review, customer spec review and other technical review.

ÜPreparation / review of TA drawings and manufacturing drawings.

ÜPreparation / review of Bill of materials – in ERP.

ÜPreparation / review of detailed manufacturing drawings.

ÜPrepare design (hand) calculations for the design development/ evaluation.

ÜCreation of Design Plan and review of design inputs and outputs.

ÜManufacturing and field service support during assembly / commissioning.

ÜMake innovative changes in the existing product for improvements and easy manufacture.

ÜResponsible for on time delivery and quality outputs.

ÜPrepare the design documents and operation and maintenance manuals for the product.

ÜAttend meetings and conferences to develop knowledge and skills.

ÜWeekly reporting – project status and other Engineering and individual KPIs.

ÜVisit customer for resolving technical issues.

ÜWork with all IMI locations worldwide to understand the identified product, and its design and engineering requirements.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

ÜDegree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed colleges / universities.

ÜConversant with hydraulic power packs and systems

ÜPreparation of specification of hydraulic power systems

ÜPreparation and review of P&ID (instrument and routing) diagrams for hydraulic systems

ÜSizing, selection, and preparation of specification of hydraulic power unit instruments hydraulic power unit, hydraulic actuators, and control elements.

ÜBasic flow and pressure drop calculations for hydraulic system

ÜConversant with hazardous and non-hazardous area classification of instruments and its selection

ÜPreparation and review of general arrangement drawing of hydraulic power systems

ÜExperience in control valves, actuators, accessories, pneumatic circuits are added advantages.

ÜMust have working knowledge of Solid works & AutoCAD.

ÜMust have experience in bill of materials and part number creation in ERP.

ÜWorking knowledge on MS Office.

ÜMust have good writing skills to prepare design documents and manuals.

ÜMust be willing to travel anywhere globally.

Familiar with ISO 9001 requirements.



Requirements

Education qualification and Experience:

ÜDegree in Mechanical Engineering from good or reputed college.

ÜMinimum 4-8 years of design experience in hydraulic power packs and systems.

Communication Skills:

ÜMust possess good writing and communication skills - English.

Self-driven, assertive, entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful.
