Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Web Developer to join our fast-growing EdTech team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable, high-performance web applications that deliver engaging and effective learning experiences to students, educators, and institutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has a strong track record of building secure, responsive, and accessible web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, responsive, and user-friendly web applications across our EdTech platform.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-impact features that improve learner engagement and success.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern web technologies (e.g., React, , , TypeScript, etc.).
  • Optimize performance for web applications to ensure fast loading times, especially for mobile and low-bandwidth environments.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party tools, and internal systems (LMS, CRM, CMS, etc.) into the platform.
  • Maintain a strong focus on accessibility (WCAG standards) and security best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile development processes.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of deployed applications.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and at least one major frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
  • Experience with , , or other SSR/SSG frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating front-end with backend services.
  • Strong experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
  • Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines and implementing WCAG 2.1 standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the EdTech sector or building platforms for online learning, assessments, or digital classrooms.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), SCORM, xAPI, or EdTech integrations (LTI, SSO).
  • Knowledge of backend frameworks (e.g., , Django, Ruby on Rails) or headless CMS architecture.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and Docker.
