What are the duties and responsibilities of a Service Advisor? A Service Advisor will have many duties depending on their location, but they commonly focus on answering customer questions, scheduling appointments and helping the customer determine what services they may need based on vehicle maintenance issues.
The primary responsibility of a Customer Service Advisor is to answer customer enquiries and resolve customer issues in an efficient and timely manner. This may include providing information about products and services, taking orders, processing payments, addressing complaints, and troubleshooting technical issues.

An associate's degree in mechanics or a related field may be advantageous. Experience in the automotive field may be advantageous. A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry. Proficiency with industry-specific software.
