**Position Overview**:
The Service Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the car showroom's service department. This role involves managing customer interactions, scheduling service appointments, providing vehicle recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. The Service Advisor acts as a liaison between the customer and the service team, ensuring clear communication and efficient handling of repair and maintenance services for vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Interaction & Relationship Building**:

- Greet customers promptly and professionally as they enter the service department.
- Discuss vehicle issues and concerns with customers to accurately determine service requirements.
- Provide information about service options, warranties, and estimated timeframes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles, any additional repairs, and progress updates.
- **Service Scheduling & Coordination**:

- Schedule service appointments based on customer needs and vehicle availability.
- Ensure service appointments are efficiently coordinated with the workshop, technicians, and parts department.
- Prepare work orders, including a clear list of customer concerns, requested services, and repair details.
- **Technical Knowledge & Recommendations**:

- Advise customers on necessary maintenance, repairs, and vehicle upgrades based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition.
- Explain technical issues in an understandable way, helping customers make informed decisions about services.
- Ensure all recommended services are communicated clearly to the customer, including costs and time estimates.
- **Billing & Documentation**:

- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services.
- Ensure that all repair orders are completed, billed, and processed according to dealership policies.
- Handle customer payments, ensuring clarity and transparency in billing.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, vehicle service history, and financial transactions.
- **Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction**:

- Inspect completed work orders and ensure that repairs meet the dealership's quality standards.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction with the work completed and the overall experience.
- Address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with service technicians, parts department, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient service operation.
- Provide feedback on common customer issues or service concerns to help improve processes and customer satisfaction.
- **Sales Support & Upselling**:

- Promote the dealership’s range of parts, accessories, and special offers to customers.
- Upsell additional services, such as extended warranties, service packages, or vehicle upgrades, where appropriate.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Assist with inventory tracking for parts and tools needed for repairs.
- Ensure the service department is clean, organized, and professional in appearance.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor, or similar customer-facing role in a car dealership or service center.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Basic understanding of billing and invoicing.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with specific car brands or in a luxury vehicle showroom.
- Certification from an automotive-related program or technical training.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
