**Reports To**: Quality Manager

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Part Inspection**: Perform inspection of mechanical parts as per 2D drawings, ensuring they meet the required specifications and tolerances.
- **Measurement Tools**: Use measurement instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and other basic tools to inspect and measure mechanical components.
- **Quality Documentation**: Record and maintain inspection reports, ensuring all non-conformities are logged and communicated.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Participate in 5S activities (workplace organization and cleanliness) to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- **Kaizen**: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting improvements to processes, tools, and workflows.
- **Instrument Calibration**: Assist in the calibration of measurement instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability in inspections.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the production team and supervisors to identify quality issues and support corrective actions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- **Experience**: 0-1.5 years of experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or a similar role.
- **Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical parts, 2D drawings, and basic measurement instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and other tools.**:

- **Quality Control Basics: Knowledge of 5S methodology and basic principles of Kaizen for process improvement.**:

- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and report deviations in mechanical parts.
- **Communication Skills**: Good verbal and written communication skills to report and document inspection results.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Certifications**: Any certifications in quality control, mechanical design, or related fields (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) would be an added advantage.
- **Basic Software Knowledge**: Familiarity with MS Office or basic quality control software, instruments & tools.

**Salary Range**:

- ₹12,000 to ₹22,000 per month (Based on experience and skillset).
