Introduction:
As ETL Solution Designer, you will have sound knowledge and experience on Data Warehousing platform like Teradata or Hadoop. You will work with various federated teams and guide them on data analysis and design.
- Design complex ETL framework, workflows, templates, and scripts using Ab initio, Hadoop, Hive, Teradata and Unix.
- Work collaboratively with Developers, Tech Leads, Business Analysts & Delivery leads to deliver complex solutions

What will you be doing?
- Design of Data and Integration flows using requirement [60%]
- Technical feasibility of requirements & Inputs to the functional document creation. [10%]
- Stakeholder management [10%]
- Code reviews and sign-off [10%]
- Test reviews for adherence to design [10%]
- Create solution as per Barclays standards and socialise the solution with relevant stakeholders
- Study various strategy documents available within the organization
- Inputs to the other teams like SIT, Production Support Teams etc.

What we’re looking for:

- Should have strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL tool, Unix scripting and Hadoop or Teradata.
- Ability to mentor junior team members on technical skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and provide innovative solutions to technical problems and provide expertise and continuity across both the business solution and technical solution
- Builds effective relationships with all stakeholders
