As part of the R&D Technology and Execution function, the development team designs, develops, and maintains software products and solutions, including underlying systems architecture. Responsible for delivering world-class products and cloud solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D functions.
We are looking for a R&D Principal Technologist who is innovative, technically competent, and has true customer obsession to help us with developing solutions for AVEVA Insight, a powerful and secure cloud environment for operational continuity.
In this role you will:

- Responsible for design, development, and hands-on implementation of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions using C#.net framework.
- Serve as a Microsoft Azure technical resource in the team’s efforts to determine and address the needs of our customers.
- Participate in planning and implementation of solutions for our cloud platform.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to recommend and design infrastructure, database, or data storage solutions that effectively reflect our client’s business needs, security, and service level requirements.
- Align solutions with standards and best practices working with cross-functional engineering and consulting teams.
- Establish strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of internal best practices.

Qualifications:
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related degree.
- 12-15 Years of IT experience in Analysis, Design, Development.
- Expert level experience in Angular web development framework.
- Expert level experience in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience using Jasmine & karma or relevant Unit Test frameworks for writing UI unit tests.
- Proficiency with Application development using C#.
- Strong Knowledge of Restful services, Web API.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Azure Technologies.
- Knowledge in SQL server & database concepts.
- Experience on creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Experience on debugging, diagnostics, Unit Testing & Mocking frameworks.
- Experience of working in agile environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, Open, proactive, results oriented, self-organized and self-motivated
- Professional and precise communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Certifications.
- Experience with Industrial automation domain knowledge.
- Knowledge of C# advanced topics,.NET Framework &.NET Core.
- Knowledge of working Microsoft Azure Platform, including deployment, provisioning, and high availability of Web Applications.
- Knowledge of UI Automation using Protractor, Cypress and Storybooks
