JD: Program Associate - Outreach **About the Organization** Youth Dreamers Foundation (YDF) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Sec 8 (1) of the Companies Act, 2015. YDF intends to realize an “equal opportunity" approach in accessing higher education to make higher education more inclusive, accessible, and affordable for marginalized sections of society. **About the Position** - The Program Associate - Outreach is a critical work area, as the foundation of our success is based in our relationships with partners. The Associate supports Associates of different scholarship arms of YDF and reports to the Program Manager._ The Program Associate will work collaboratively with: - **YDF Operations Teams**: _to maintain existing partnerships & building new ones_ - **Program Manager**: _to communicate YDF’s achievements across Bihar through social & mass media_ - **Operations Lead**:_to design innovative communications strategies_ **Overview** - **Job Type**: Full-time; contract to be renewed annually - **Salary**: ₹ 30,000 - ₹ 35,000 per month, salary commensurate with experience and expertise - **Probation**: Three months; salary during probation to be ₹ 2-3,000 less than a full-time salary - **Office timings**: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm - **Reporting To**: Program Manager, Bihar - **Location**: YDF Office, Patna - **Travel**: Needs-based field visits to existing and potential partners **Key responsibilities** They are expected to take up the following responsibilities: **Self-learning** ○ Keeps up-to-date with official information of private & government scholarship schemes ○ Regularly explores various online/offline events, programs, opportunities relevant to YDF **Relationship Building & Management** ○ Identifies new leads and explores opportunity to build new partnerships for YDF ○ Engages with existing partners and sends timely updates to strengthen the partnership ○ Tracks and analyses trends relating to outreach ○ Maintains all records & progress reports of different scholarships ○ Supports with smooth functioning of all programs **Branding & PR** ○ Participates in the creation of an overall communications strategy including development and management of social & mass media content The Program Associate shall also help in managing the office activities along with the larger YDF team. **Desired Profile** - 2-3 years of experience in managing partnerships will be highly valuable (Freshers with exception skills can be considered) - Excellent verbal & written communication in Hindi, English (other local languages will be an added advantage) - Proficiency in common tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Docs (other software will be an added advantage) - Proven ability to independently handle multiple diverse assignments simultaneously, successfully complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines while conducting high-quality work - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Acumen and desire for learning & self-improvement is a must - Desire to make a positive and lasting impact in our community - Understanding of the non-profit, voluntary and social sector **How to Apply** Applications are open till the position is filled.
