**Key responsibilities-**
- The Head of Sales for Cold Chain Transportation in the logistics industry is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and managing the sales team focused on driving revenue growth within the cold chain transportation division. This position involves strategic sales planning, client relationship management, team leadership, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the cold chain transportation division to achieve revenue goals and market expansion.
- Identify target markets, customer segments, and potential growth opportunities within the temperature-controlled logistics sector.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and engaging with potential clients.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target industries.

- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, including account managers, business development executives, and sales coordinators.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to develop joint strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Identify and establish partnerships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to enhance service offerings.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring terms, pricing, and service levels are mutually beneficial and aligned with company objectives.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
