Job Profile_
- Analysis and quantification of decarbonization related issues using energy/macro/system dynamics/land-use/integrated modelling.
- Analysis of energy demand through various techniques including estimation, prediction and forecasting techniques with particular attention to inter-temporal and spatial variations in energy demand
- Analysis of macro-economic and socio-economic trends and forecast thereof.
- Contribution towards enhancing TERI-s existing models and frameworks by improving the model structure, updating data and forecasts, validation of model outputs and analysis of results.
- Interacting with clients, liaising with government and non-government officials and other stakeholders at the national and sub-national levels
- Coordinating project activities within CEAM, across other teams within TERI and other institutions
- Publishing of reports, articles, blogs and journal articles, and presentation of results to a wider audience including stakeholders, policymakers, and academicians
- Organizing internal and external meetings, stakeholder dialogues, workshops, and other dissemination events
- Outreach through domestic and international travel & participation in conference /workshops
- Experience_

5 - 6 Years
- Qualification_
- Strong academic record with master-s (or above) in Economics/ Statistics/ Energy/ Environmental Economics/Social Sciences/electrical or mechanical engineering
- or any other relevant field with at least 5-6 years of related experience (Ph.D. holders in the above fields will be given preference).
- Skills_
- Understanding of India-s energy/power sector and related policies.

- Understanding of India-s development paradigm and socio-economic issues and related policies
Or
- Understanding of India-s non-energy sectors (like LULUCF) and related policies
