Store & Purchase Executive

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement**:
- Identify and source supplier/vendors for dairy-related materials, ingredients, packaging materials, equipment, and other supplies.
- Obtain price quotations, negotiate terms, and select the most suitable suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time.
- Raise purchase orders and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply chain.
**Inventory Management**:
- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect quality to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate future demand to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage, pilferage, and obsolescence.
- Regularly update inventory records using manual or computerized systems.
**Storage and Distribution**:
- Organize and maintain a well-structured storage area for different types of materials, adhering to proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene, etc.).
- Implement a first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory management system to ensure the usage of oldest stock first.
- Coordinate with other departments (production, quality control, operations etc.) to ensure timely distribution of materials for uninterrupted production.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, procurement status, consumption patterns, and any variances.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to procurement and storage activities.
**Quality and Compliance**:
- Ensure that all incoming materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Follow safety and health regulations when storing and handling materials, especially perishable items.
- Comply with company policies and relevant industry regulations during procurement and storage activities.
**Continuous Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier performance enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in procurement and inventory management.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles, preferably within the dairy industry.
- Familiarity with dairy-related materials, ingredients, and packaging materials is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality standards, health, and safety regulations related to the storage of dairy products.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
**Salary**: From ₹18,000.00 per month
