Job Description: Acrylic Laser Machine Operator - Signage Industry

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Laser Machine Operation**:

- Operate and monitor laser cutting machines (e.g., CO2 or fiber lasers) to cut, engrave, and etch acrylic and other materials used in signage production.
- Adjust machine settings to meet project specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- **Material Preparation**:

- Read and interpret design files, drawings, and specifications provided by the design team.
- Prepare acrylic sheets and other materials for laser cutting, including measuring, masking, and securing materials.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished products for accuracy, dimensions, and quality against design requirements.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with project standards.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance on laser machines, including cleaning lenses, checking alignment, and replacing consumables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow safety protocols for operating laser equipment, handling materials, and working in the production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Provide feedback to improve designs for manufacturability and efficiency.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production output, and material usage.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years operating laser cutting machines in a signage or related industry.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Proficiency in using laser cutting software (e.g., CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or similar).
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on precision and quality in all tasks.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials of varying sizes and weights.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues effectively.
- **Safety Awareness**: Understanding of safety procedures and protocols for working with laser equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with CNC routers, vinyl cutters, or other signage production equipment.
- Familiarity with various materials used in signage, including acrylic, wood, aluminum, and composites.
- Certification or training in laser machine operation or related fields.

**Work Environment**:

- Full-time position in a signage production facility.
- Involve overtime to meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
