
Sales Executive

A "Sales Executive" in a hotel is responsible for actively seeking and securing new business by generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to maximize hotel occupancy and revenue, often focusing on specific market segments like corporate groups, weddings, or conferences, while maintaining excellent customer service standards throughout the sales process. Key responsibilities of a hotel sales executive:
- **Lead generation**:Identifying potential clients through market research, networking, and outreach initiatives.
- **Client relationship building**:Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients.
- **Sales presentations**:Preparing and delivering compelling presentations outlining the hotel's offerings and value proposition to clients.
- **Contract negotiation**:Negotiating room rates, package deals, and contract terms with clients to ensure profitable bookings.
- **Sales forecasting**:Analyzing market trends and forecasting future sales to meet revenue targets.
- **Site inspections**:Conducting tours of the hotel facilities for potential clients
- **CRM management**:Maintaining accurate customer data and sales information in the hotel's CRM system
- **Event planning**:Collaborating with the hotel's event management team to plan and execute large events
- **Sales reporting**:Tracking sales performance, analyzing data, and providing regular reports to management
