Internal Job Description
- Internal Job Description- Assures that customers receive the desired quantity of product on a just-in-time basis. Maintains a just-in-time supply of raw materials.
- Provides management guidance and direction to all employees in the materials function to ensure a safe, efficient and effective department.
- Assist in the facility recycling process as applicable Participate in health & safety and quality audit process.
- Develops production schedules to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the production process. Responsible for the procurement of necessary non-production supplies required to maintain an efficient and effective facility.
- Design and implement policies, procedures and methods as required to facilitate objectives.
- Assists with inventory control and customer billing. Performs new product/process analysis to ensure that the customer/supplier just-in-time system is maintained.
- Facilitates the procurement of transportation services as required to maintain a just-in-time process.
- Provides management guidance and direction to all employees in the materials function to ensure a safe, efficient and effective department.
