Civil Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Civil Supervisor oversees and coordinates construction activities on civil engineering projects. They are responsible for ensuring that construction operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets. The Civil Supervisor manages a team of workers and subcontractors, providing guidance, instruction, and support to ensure project success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning and Coordination**:

- Collaborate with project managers to develop construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to interpret project drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead and supervise construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to construction teams to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies promptly.
- **Resource Management**:

- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower resources effectively to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote awareness and prevent accidents.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Provide progress reports, updates, and recommendations to project management as required.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Identify construction-related challenges and develop solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project continuity.
- Address issues such as delays, conflicts, and changes in project scope effectively and efficiently.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
- **Working Conditions**:
The Civil Supervisor typically works on construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands. They may be required to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
