**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning & Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons in Social Science, covering History, Geography, and Civics, in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
- Make use of varied teaching methodologies, including discussions, multimedia presentations, project-based learning, debates, and fieldwork, to foster interest and engagement in Social Science topics.
- Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students can grasp complex social, historical, and geographical concepts.
- **Curriculum Implementation**:

- Implement the school’s prescribed curriculum for Social Science (SST), ensuring the delivery of content in a structured and engaging manner.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and stimulating learning environment.
- Foster a culture of curiosity and inquiry in the classroom, encouraging students to ask questions and engage in critical thinking.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and manage student behavior effectively during lessons, group activities, and projects.
- **Student Assessment & Feedback**:

- Regularly assess students’ progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, projects, and presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback on students’ work, helping them improve their understanding of Social Science concepts.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance and provide reports as required by the school.
- **Student Support & Enrichment**:

- Provide additional support to students who may need help in understanding key Social Science concepts, either through one-on-one sessions or group activities.
- Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities related to Social Science, such as Model United Nations (MUN), history and geography clubs, and quiz competitions.
- Organize field trips, guest lectures, and community engagement projects to enhance students’ real-world understanding of Social Science topics.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Regularly communicate with parents regarding students’ progress in Social Science, highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and strategies for further learning.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic performance and share recommendations for supporting students’ growth outside the classroom.
- Keep parents informed about class activities, upcoming assignments, and projects.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends, teaching strategies, and resources in Social Science education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to discuss best practices, share teaching resources, and enhance the overall teaching and learning experience in Social Science.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of [X] years of teaching Social Science at the secondary school level.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Social Science concepts, including History, Geography, and Civics.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that make Social Science interesting and accessible.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to track and assess student progress.
- Creativity in using multimedia, real-world examples, and interactive activities to enhance learning.

Pay: Up to ₹33,000.00 per month
