Job Summary (JS)

The TGT Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Science to middle and secondary school students (Grades 6–10). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of scientific concepts, enthusiasm for teaching, and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry-based learning.

Job Description (JD)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver Science lessons as per the school curriculum (CBSE / ICSE / IB).
  • Design engaging classroom and lab-based activities to make scientific learning experiential.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students.
  • Provide academic guidance, remedial support, and motivation to students.
  • Incorporate technology and visual aids to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Maintain lab safety protocols and manage practical experiments efficiently.
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and science exhibitions or events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
  • Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry among students.

Skills Required

  • Strong subject knowledge across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Classroom management and student engagement abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and e-learning platforms.
  • Creativity and adaptability in teaching approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Science or Education (M.Sc. / M.Ed.).
  • Experience in CBSE / ICSE / IB schools.
  • Experience in conducting Science fairs, projects, or Olympiad preparation.
