Position: Estimator

Company: Leading Residential Construction Company

Company Location: Melbourne, Australia

Job Location: Work From Home

Working Hours: 7 am to 4 pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to analyze project specifications and develop comprehensive estimates.
- Utilize estimation software and other tools to ensure accurate and efficient cost calculations.
- Continuously adapt to new project details and incorporate changes into estimates.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of estimates.
- Prepare purchase orders and review invoices for construction projects.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation within the construction industry.
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with PlanSwift is desirable.
- Familiarity with MS Project is desirable.
- Knowledge of accounting software is desirable.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimates.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders.
