**Job Summary**:
The Commis 1 - Continental is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality continental dishes under the guidance of senior chefs. The role involves maintaining food hygiene standards, assisting in kitchen operations, and ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook continental dishes such as pasta, steaks, sauces, salads, and soups according to the menu and standards.
- Assist in the mise en place (preparation) for daily service.
- Ensure timely and efficient food preparation during meal service hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including personal workstation and equipment.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures as per HACCP or equivalent standards.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients and report any issues to the Chef de Partie.
- Ensure portion control and minimize food waste.
- Assist with inventory checks and proper storage of ingredients.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with a focus on continental cuisine.
- Good understanding of cooking techniques and food presentation for continental dishes.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic maintenance.

- Requires flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
