**The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deployment and Configuration: Setting up and configuring AVD environments, including virtual machines, network settings, and security configurations.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring AVD performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system uptime and reliability.
- Security Management: Implementing and managing security measures, such as access controls, encryption, and compliance with security policies.
- User Support: Providing support to end-users, resolving technical issues, and assisting with onboarding and training.
- Software Updates: Keeping the AVD environment up to date with the latest patches and software updates.
- Technical Implementation: Implementing AVD solutions, including provisioning virtual machines, configuring network settings, and setting up security measures.
- Performance Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing AVD performance to ensure efficient resource utilization and user experience.
- Automation: Developing and implementing automation scripts to streamline AVD deployment and management tasks.
- Testing and Validation: Conducting tests to validate AVD configurations and ensure they meet performance and security requirements.
- Incident Response: Responding to and resolving technical incidents related to the AVD environment.

You’ll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. This means dealing with both client expectations and internal challenges - in other words, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference, and a lot of people will witness your contributions. **Required Technical and Professional Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree and Above
- Overall 10+ years of relevant experience in Azure AVD support
- Good experience in installation, configuration, and Migration.
- Exposure on Monitoring and optimizing performance, availability, and security.
- Security Policies: Developing and implementing security policies and procedures for the AVD environment.
- Access Controls: Managing user access controls and permissions to ensure secure access to AVD resources.
- Threat Mitigation: Identifying and mitigating security threats and vulnerabilities in the AVD environment.
- Compliance: Ensuring the AVD environment complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Certifications in Azure AVD/Cloud related.
