As an Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix Administrator - Level 3, you will play a critical role in providing expert support for the configuration and management of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix environments. You will lead efforts to ensure effective virtual desktop solutions and provide guidance to junior administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Design:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix that aligns with the organization s goals and objectives.
- Lead the design and optimization of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix infrastructure, including advanced features, policies, and optimizations.
2. User Support and Training:
- Offer training and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 administrators and end-users.
3. Advanced Troubleshooting:
- Provide Level 3 support for Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix-related issues and incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis for challenging technical problems and implement expert solutions.
4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Oversee the monitoring of the performance and availability of virtual desktop environments.
- Implement advanced performance tuning and optimization strategies.
5. Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix configurations adhere to the highest standards of security and compliance.
- Monitor and address vulnerabilities to reduce security risks.
6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix configurations, best practices, and advanced troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with senior administrators to create and update knowledge base articles.
