- Write and maintain customer and internal documentation using a structured documentation system.
- The position also includes activities related to the coordination of documentation projects, and cooperation with subcontractors and translation agencies.
- Timely completion of all assignments relating to technical documentation
- Establishing and maintaining high quality of submitted work, according to defined documentation standards and best practices in technical writing and document management
- Understanding of delivery process and documentation delivery according to customer requirements.
- Prepare document schedules/develop documentation plan for projects and maintain records
- Attend product meetings, organize meetings as required
- Proactive approach to questioning technical team to clarify technical issues
- Setting up document standards, styles and formats, etc.
- Utilize standard documents and solutions, and actively develop them in cooperation with document management & development
- Excellent written and spoken English
- other language skills are a plus
- Certification in technical writing is an added advantage
- Technical background - ability to understand complex crane deliveries
- Initiative and good team work skills
- Knowledge of structured documentation
- Knowledge of XML and DITA
- Knowledge of CorelDraw
- Pay attention and focus on small engineering details
- Active communication skills and accurate way of working
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with a globally distributed team.
- Ability to handle project individually
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Awereness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
