**About Us**:
WEDO (Women Empowerment and Development Organization) is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs and homemakers by providing them with the resources, support, and guidance needed to succeed. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Career Counselor to join our team and help guide homemakers in transitioning to successful WEDO consultants.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions with homemakers to assess their skills, interests, and career goals.
- Develop personalized career plans and strategies to help homemakers transition into WEDO consultants.
- Provide guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, job search strategies, and networking opportunities.
- Train homemakers to become effective WEDO consultants, offering support and resources throughout the process.
- Assist clients in identifying and overcoming barriers to career success, including work-life balance, confidence issues, and industry-specific challenges.
- Stay updated on job market trends, employment opportunities, and industry developments relevant to our clients.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions on career development topics.
- Collaborate with other WEDO team members to develop and implement programs and services that support homemakers transitioning to consultants.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and client progress.
- Provide referrals to additional resources and services as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Career Counselor (CCC) or similar credential is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in career counseling, preferably with a focus on women or homemakers.
- Strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by homemakers entering the workforce.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficient in using career assessment tools and software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about empowering women and promoting gender equality in the workplace.
