**Position**: Commis II

**Reports To**: Chef de Partie/Head Chef
- **Job Summary**:_
The Commis II is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes under the supervision of senior kitchen staff. The role requires a passion for food, the ability to work in a high-pressure environment, and a commitment to maintaining kitchen hygiene and standards.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
**Food Preparation and Cooking**:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes as per the menu and standards.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications as directed by senior chefs.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner.
**Kitchen Operations**:
- Organize and maintain preparation areas to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and informing senior staff when supplies are low.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
**Hygiene and Safety**:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of ingredients.
- Participate in cleaning schedules to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.
**Team Collaboration**:
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve a smooth and efficient operation.
- Support senior chefs during busy periods and help with additional tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service.
- **Qualifications and Skills**:_
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a culinary degree or certification is a plus.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a commercial kitchen.
- **Skills**:
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Pay: ₹10,383.47 - ₹24,788.77 per month
