- Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
- Receiving goods into the warehouse, including inspecting shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Determining the optimal storage layout and organizing the warehouse space to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Managing and maintaining warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and pallet racks, is part of their responsibilities.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Managing the warehouse's operating budget, including labor, equipment, and supply costs.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and on-time shipments, to higher-level management.
