Store In-charge

The **Store In-Charge** for Gemopai Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing company will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory, warehousing, and materials handling for the production process. This role involves ensuring the timely availability of components, raw materials, and finished products, while maintaining efficient stock levels and adhering to quality control processes. The Store In-Charge will also coordinate with various departments, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Oversee and manage the storage and handling of raw materials, components, and finished goods required for electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly to ensure materials are stocked in adequate quantities to avoid production delays.
- Maintain a system for tracking inventory, including parts, assemblies, and components specific to electric scooters (e.g., batteries, motors, wiring, frames, etc.).
- Ensure accurate stock records are maintained and update inventory management systems accordingly.
- **Stock Replenishment & Order Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and work with procurement teams to reorder materials and components as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any delays or discrepancies in shipments.
- Ensure that inventory turns are efficient, and obsolete or excess stock is minimized.
- **Receiving and Inspection**:

- Supervise the receipt of all incoming materials, components, and goods.
- Ensure that all received items match the purchase orders in terms of quality, quantity, and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that materials meet company standards before they are added to the store inventory.
- Manage documentation for receipts, returns, and damaged goods.
- **Warehouse Organization & Safety**:

- Organize the warehouse or storage areas to ensure that materials are stored safely, securely, and in an accessible manner.
- Ensure proper labeling and categorization of parts and materials for easy identification and retrieval.
- Implement safety protocols for the handling of hazardous materials, such as batteries and chemicals used in electric vehicles.
- Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure that materials are stored in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- **Inventory Audits and Reporting**:

- Conduct regular physical stock counts (e.g., weekly or monthly) to ensure inventory records match actual stock.
- Perform cycle counts to minimize stock discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and submit reports on stock levels, inventory movements, and usage to management.
- Address any discrepancies in stock through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- **Coordination with Other Departments**:

- Work closely with the production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure that materials required for production are available on time.
- Collaborate with the production team to forecast material requirements based on the production schedule and production capacity.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch of finished products and materials to customers or distribution centers.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure quality, timely deliveries, and negotiate for competitive pricing when necessary.
- Address any issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or supply chain disruptions.
- **System Maintenance & Documentation**:

- Maintain and update the inventory management system with accurate stock records and movement logs.
- Ensure all relevant documentation, such as purchase orders, delivery notes, and stock issuance forms, is properly filed and accessible.
- Assist in the digitalization and automation of store management processes where possible.
- **Staff Supervision & Training**:

- Supervise store assistants, warehouse staff, and other personnel involved in inventory management and materials handling.
- Provide training on warehouse operations, inventory management procedures, and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all store staff adhere to company policies and procedures for inventory control and warehouse management.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or storekeeping, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry (EV experience is a plus).
