Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: The Cozy Nook, Manali

Reports To: Housekeeping Manager

Department: Housekeeping

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision and Team Leadership:

- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Supervise and guide housekeeping staff to maintain high standards.
- Prepare staff schedules and allocate tasks efficiently.

2. Quality Control:

- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
- Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and effectively.

3. Training and Development:

- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols, safety measures, and guest interaction.
- Ensure staff adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

4. Inventory Management:

- Monitor housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of cleaning products and amenities.

5. Health and Safety Compliance:

- Enforce adherence to health and safety standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure fire safety and evacuation protocols are understood by staff.

6. Collaboration:

- Coordinate with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests and ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with the housekeeping manager regarding operational challenges and solutions.

7. Guest Satisfaction:

- Focus on providing a welcoming and clean environment that enhances guest experience.

**Requirements**:
1. Experience:

- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (hospitality experience preferred).

2. Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and housekeeping protocols.

3. Knowledge:

- Familiarity with cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety standards in hospitality.

4. Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent (certification in hospitality management is a plus).

- Salary: 15-16K per month (based on experience).
