**Position Title** - Controller Operations Planning and MIS

**Location** - Bangalore

**Purpose**

**Broad objective of the role**

Lead the Operations Planning and MIS department to suitably map the demand provided by sales to most optimal production source, and support timely delivery of stock as per market demand from plants/breweries in order to drive effective production operations across planning, inventory management, capacity planning within internal and external compliances and guidelines

**Key Accountabilities**

**Capacity Planning**
- Lead capacity planning for breweries across India by reviewing existing capacities and sales projections; Draw inferences and determine way forward to build capacity
- Determine optimal scenarios for capacity enhancement through imports, local contractors, greenfield projects etc.
- Share information/plans/scenarios with the Finance team for techno-commercial evaluation

**Demand - Supply Mapping**
- Lead mapping of State SKU level requirements with most cost optimal source to meet the demand effectively
- Determine the requisite production plan for each plant; Share plan with units and SAP team to generate MRPs
- Lead the preparation of daily production and dispatch numbers for each plant; Participate in the review of this data with relevant stakeholders; Draw inferences and resolve issues, as required

**OTIF (On-time In-full) Measurement**
- Drive servicing of orders on-time and in-full
- Drive servicing of 80% of received orders within 48 hours
- Identify red flags and issues, during OTIF fulfillment and highlight to relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Lead any corrective action planning and implementation to ensure OTIF

**Inventory Management
- Review inventory at breweries and depots and drive adherence to all agreements with internal Sales team
- Lead planning for inventory build-up before season and accordingly maintain these inventories in off-season.

**SLOB (Slow and Obsolete) Management**
- Review the ageing numbers of existing inventory at the plants and ensure liquidation of finished goods produced within the agreed ageing norms
- Plan for leftover packaging material liquidation, as required
- Analyze monthly inventory performance data to draw inferences and identify deviations and conduct requisite corrective action planning and implementation, as required

**New Product Launches**
- Coordinate with Technical team, Marketing team and Sales team to determine details for launch of new products pan-India
- Ensure availability of raw/packaging materials required during NPD; Support fulfillment of requisite statutory approvals in coordination with internal liaising team

**Team Management**
- Plan manpower requirements and make hiring decisions for team
- Define targets/set goals, allocate responsibilities and conduct performance appraisals against set targets for team members
- Provide coaching, support and leadership to ensure adequate skills and competencies are developed in the team
- Take responsibility to ensure that the team imbibes the committed UBL values and culture

**Lead HNK**

**S&OP Integration**
- Responsible for integrating HNK Sales &Operating plan integration in coordination with various stake holders viz Sales, Mktg, Global planning

**Education guidelines
- Masters Operations/Supply Chain Management/MBA in SCM

**Desired experience
- Minimum 7 years with experience in a large manufacturing organization
- Experience of 3-4 years in the AlcoBev industry
- Understanding of multi-disciplinary areas - sales, marketing, procurement and supply chain, new product development, etc.
- Knowledge of operations planning tool and techniques
- Knowledge of continuous improvement in manufacturing and SCM
