Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Controller to join our team. As an Operations Controller, you will be responsible for delivering Financial, Cost and Compliance controls at the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial, cost, and compliance controls at the plant.
  • Work with the plant team to achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the plant.
  • Prepare and monitor Plant Budgets.
  • Validate and update product costing in SAP and provide efficiency reporting.
  • Carry out month-end closing activities and prepare reports.
  • Ensure the custody and control of Fixed Assets.
  • Review open Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Received Inspections (GRIs) and follow up with concerned functions for timely closure.
  • Control plant overheads and track plant performance on a regular basis to drive attention to key performance indicators driving cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at the plant.
  • Conduct inventory control through monthly reporting.
  • Be responsible for the correctness of Plant Financials - Costing/Financial Accounting.
  • Evaluate and implement proper internal control systems at the plant.
  • Prepare Product Cost Management Information Systems (MIS). Analyze variance in product cost by cost element.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and internal audits. Prepare balance sheet and Profit and Loss (P&L) schedules.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports.
  • Exercise control over Accounts Payable and Receivable.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [X] years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP CO module exposure.
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
