**Role & responsibilities**
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts and financial documents.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts regularly. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in records.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Provide financial data to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Track and categorize company expenses. Assist in monitoring budgets and preparing financial forecasts.
- Support the Senior Accountant in ad-hoc financial projects. Stay updated on accounting best practices and software.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

**Required Competencies**
- Proven experience as an accountant with a minimum 1-3 years in a similar role.
- Excellent record-keeping and accounting skills with a high level of ethics and attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Other Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good English communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Accuracy of financial records and reports.
- Timeliness in completing reconciliations and reports.
- Effective management of accounts payable/receivable.
- Adherence to compliance standards.

**Education**

PG: CS in Any Specialization, MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization, M. Com in Any Specialization, ICWA (CMA) in Any Specialization

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
