Information Services (EIS) of Ipswich, Massachusetts is seeking " Discovery Analysis

Coordinator" for its location at Cherlapally, Hyderabad.

NES provides quality metadata services to world-class database publishers and institutes of

higher education. We deliver unmatched value through a combination of process excellence,

quality control and services such as information & content development, metadata modeling,

controlled vocabulary services, data preparation, software development, product quality

product development. NES is renowned for its mastery in the de-duplication of bibliographic

and metadata records through the creation of composite records.

Create analyses and reports detailing how EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) can be

implemented for customers. These reports can range in detail, and sometimes may require a

comparison of a customer’s entire e-journal collection. These analyses and reports are used as

both a tool for the Sales Team and a tool for EDS implementation team. The successful

assigned as needed, especially to assist with analyses related to EBSCOhost databases and e
- books.

**Primary Responsibilities**

Work on matching titles on the Title Comparison System (TCS) whenever instructed by

Competitive Analysis Group.

Creation of all types of EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) sales analyses and reports to be

utilized as key selling tools for the worldwide sales force; analyses and reports are also used

by EDS implementation teams to ensure customer EDS setups are correct requiring the

ability to work effectively with Sales Management and make good decisions about these

analyses.

Collaborate with the Competitive Analysis Group to ensure that all necessary publisher and

product data is available for all analyses and reports.

Collaborate with the Competitive Analysis Group to maintain internal systems and work on

specialized and/or custom projects as and when needed.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience in the publishing industry (Library

Science preferable).

**Preferred Qualifications**

Work experience in a relevant corporate, research or professional service organization.

Knowledge of libraries and the publishing industry are highly desirable.

Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word is must.

Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Web browsing skills.

Knowledge of MS Access.
