**Key Responsibilities**
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a Discovery CRO / Medicinal chemistry
- Knowledge of name reactions, range of laboratory unit operations & purification techniques
- Knowledge of safety practices in laboratory operations
- Exposure to ChemDraw and other databases
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

**Qualification**M.Sc organic / Medicinal chemistry
- or Ph.D. in organic medicinal chemistry with 1-2 years experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Chemical Synthesis: Conduct organic synthesis experiments at the laboratory bench, following established protocols or devising new methodologies as required.
- Purification Techniques: Utilize purification techniques such as chromatography to isolate and purify reaction products.
- Spectroscopic Analysis: Perform analysis of synthesized compounds using various spectroscopic techniques, including but not limited to NMR, IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
- Literature Search: Conduct literature searches on platforms like SciFinder to gather relevant information, download scientific papers, and stay updated on the latest advancements in organic chemistry.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) in accordance with prescribed guidelines. Document experimental procedures, results, and observations systematically.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing insights and contributing to the overall success of research projects.
- Qualifications and Skills: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry.
