Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
The role has the following key deliverables:
- Strategic Marketing Development: Formulate and implement marketing strategies that support the business objectives of the OTC portfolio, ensuring alignment with regional & global priorities.
- Market Analysis & Consumer Insights: Conduct ongoing market analysis to understand patient and healthcare provider preferences, trends, and competitor activities. Use insights to refine marketing approaches and identify growth opportunities.
- Brand Positioning: Develop and enhance brand positioning for OTC products through targeted campaigns, effective messaging, and competitive activation strategies that resonate with the Indian market.
- Product Launches & Life Cycle Management: Plan and execute new product launches in close coordination with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and regulatory affairs. Develop product-specific marketing materials and manage lifecycle strategies to maximize product potential.
- Sales Enablement & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop training materials, promotional tools, and incentive programs. Support sales initiatives by aligning marketing strategies with sales goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry influencers, and key opinion leaders, to strengthen brand credibility and market presence.
- Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget for the OTC portfolio, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI) for all HCP centric activations and initiatives.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting: Track the effectiveness of activation spends through KPIs, prepare performance reports, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement to senior leadership.
Knowledge/Education Required: Minimum Level of Education Required
2+ years in marketing, with at least 4 years in a consumer healthcare/pharma. Prior experience in OTC/HCP product marketing is highly desirable.
