Instructional Designer

**Job Title**:Instructional Designer

**Location**:Mumbai

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training materials, job aids, assessments, and multimedia elements (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Utilize authoring tools, learning management systems, and other technologies to develop and deliver learning content.
- Conduct thorough research to gather and organize content from various sources.
- Create storyboards, prototypes, and outlines to visualize and communicate the instructional design approach.
- Incorporate multimedia elements, such as audio, video, graphics, and animations, to enhance learning materials.
- Ensure instructional materials are accessible and comply with relevant accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, multimedia specialists, and other team members to produce high-quality learning materials.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, functionality, and effectiveness of instructional materials.Stay up-to-date with the latest instructional design trends, tools, and best practices.

- Skills & Competencies**:

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an impeccable command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Creative mind-set with the ability to generate original ideas and think outside the box.
- Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Proficiency in using instructional design tools and authoring software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, LMS platforms).
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and their functionalities.

**Requirements
- Education & work experience**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in instructional design and development, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, theories, and methodologies.
