A motivated and creative individual to join the core editorial team at our office in Bangalore. In your role, you will drive the news agenda on a daily basis in coordination with the rest of the team. As a part of the editorial team, you must be able to take initiative and possess an outstanding knowledge of cricket in addition to a keen eye for detail.

We are looking for individuals who have a knack for writing, are ‘grammar nazi’, and are willing to work odd hours, even on weekends, for the love of the game. If you passionately follow cricket, have knowledge about the game, and have top-notch writing skills, we’re looking for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive the news agenda and work in collaboration with the editorial team.
- Possess a detailed understanding of news gathering and the process of editorial publishing.
- Assign daily tasks to full-time and freelance writers to ensure the delivery of engaging content.
- Engaging in the entire editorial process from assignment to final publishing and ensuring that the editorial standards are adhered to.
- Develop strategies and contribute to the website’s ideation process.
- Help CricTracker hit the set targets and achieve newer heights

**Requirements**:

- Excellent command of English language, grammar as well as writing and proofreading skills.
- An understanding of the general cricket content landscape.
- Prior experience in leadership roles and managing teams is preferred.
- Willingness to take on added responsibility and ability to thrive under pressure.
- A solid work ethic and the willingness to work odd and long hours.
- Capable of adapting to new requirements and roles
- Online portfolio of edited pieces

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in Mass Communication/Journalism would be preferred.
- Prior experience in cricket journalism is a must

**Experience**:

- Prior experience of 3-5 years in a similar role would be preferred.
