Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a Merchandiser to join and develop the existing department. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser who has a proven track record of high performance in a high profile merchandising role in Jewellery sector.

Job Responsibilities:
Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in communication with buyers;
Liaising with buyer on regular basis for new product buying
Maintaining a comprehensive analytical data;
Manage the company WSSI
Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas
Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season
Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential
Monitoring slow sellers and recommending clear out strategy to scheduling team after discussing with Head of merchandising on regular interval.
Analyzing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines
Good story teller so generate stories for items
Creative thinker to generate new concepts

Preferred Qualifications & Key Competencies:
MBA in Sales & Marketing
1-2 years’ experience in sales and marketing
Experience in customer data analysis
Good knowledge of fashion industry
Preferred knowledge of gemstone and jewelry products.
Knowledge in sourcing jewellery and/or accessories will be added advantage.
A clear understanding of the market and competition
Commercial and strategic in outlook
Ability to learn, energetic and positive attitude
Must be highly organized with great attention to detail
The ability to build trust, exhibit integrity, operate fairly, and demonstrate professionalism with clients.
