**Purpose of the Job**:
We are seeking a Merchandiser to join and develop the existing department. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser who has a proven track record of high performance in a high profile merchandising role in Jewellery sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in communication with buyers.
- Liaising with buyer on regular basis for new product buying.
- Maintaining a comprehensive analytical data.
- Manage the company WSSI.
- Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.
- Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
- Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential.
- Monitoring slow sellers and recommending clear out strategy to scheduling team after discussing with Head of merchandising on regular interval.
- Analyzing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines.
- Good story teller so generate stories for items.
- Creative thinker to generate new concepts.

**Preferred Qualifications & Key Competencies**:

- MBA in Sales & Marketing.
- 1-2 years’ experience in sales and marketing.
- Experience in customer data analysis.
- Good knowledge of fashion industry.
- Preferred knowledge of gemstone and jewelry products.
- Knowledge in sourcing jewellery and/or accessories will be added advantage.
- A clear understanding of the market and competition.
- Commercial and strategic in outlook.
- Ability to learn, energetic and positive attitude.
- Must be highly organized with great attention to detail.
- The ability to build trust, exhibit integrity, operate fairly, and demonstrate professionalism with clients.
